Halloween will be here before you know it! At least that is what I keep telling myself so this week my daughter and I are planning out our neighborhood party we do every year. It is a lot of fun for both of us and we will spend hours talking about our different ideas. We plan to make cupcakes this year and found some really great ideas! I love the mummy cupcake idea as well as the graveyard cupcakes with the gummy worm coming out. Gross! But oh so fun for the kids! Have fun preparing for this silly holiday!
A Mummy of an Idea:
I love these cute mummy ideas from A Pumpkin and a Princess blog. To make the wraps she said she “To make the mummy cupcake I frosted a cupcake then used kitchen scissors to trim the sugared candy roll.” These came from JoAnn’s and Wilton’s. To read how she made these mummy cupcakes and many other fun ideas go to A Pumpkin and a Princess.
A Spidery Cupcake:
These look so fun and easy to make! It looks like they used chocolate sprinkles on top of chocolate frosting and then black licorice for the legs. To read more go to I Did a Funny.com.
A Graveyard Cupcake
I think we might be trying this one out for our upcoming party! I love how gross and spooky the worm is coming out of the “ground” and I know the kids will get a kick out of it as well. To read how to make these go to Boulder Locavore.
This blogger uses cotton candy for the funny hair on these monster cupcakes. This look too fun and goes well if you are planning on a spooky monster themed party! To read more go to The Novice Chef.
This idea was found on Pinterest and might be the easiest one to do! Just use vanilla frosting on your favorite cupcake mix and a chocolate/black icing to make these spooky faces. Image found on Pinterest.
A Healthy Treat:
If you would like to add some healthy treats for the party this idea from Crafty Texas Girls is adorable! This fruit platter is definitely going to be at our party! To read more go to Crafty Texas Girls.
